Privacy Policy

RecruitRaptor ("we", "our", "us") is a Chrome extension that helps recruiters analyze LinkedIn candidate profiles against job descriptions. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our extension and services.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you subscribe, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your email address and payment details. We receive your email address and Stripe customer ID. We do not store credit card numbers.

LinkedIn profile data: When you click "Analyze Fit" on a LinkedIn profile, the extension reads publicly visible profile information (name, headline, location, about section, experience, education, skills) from the page you are viewing. This data is sent to our API for analysis.

Job descriptions: Job descriptions you enter are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage and are sent to our API when you run an analysis.

Analysis results: Results from candidate analyses are stored locally in your browser only. We do not retain analysis results on our servers after generating them.

Usage data: We track the number of analyses you run per day and per month for rate limiting and billing purposes. We do not track which profiles you analyze.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the candidate analysis service (sending profile data and job descriptions to our AI provider for comparison)
• To authenticate your subscription and enforce rate limits
• To process payments via Stripe
• To respond to support requests

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Profile and job description data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate analysis results. Anthropic's usage policies apply. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe: Payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: Our API proxy runs on Cloudflare Workers. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Local storage: Job descriptions, analysis results, and your subscription token are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage APIs. This data stays on your device and is not accessible to us.

Server-side: We store your email address, subscription status, and usage counts on Cloudflare KV (key-value storage). We do not store candidate profile data or analysis results on our servers. Profile data is processed in-memory and discarded after each analysis request.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data as described in Section 3 (third-party services necessary to operate the extension).

6. Your Rights

• Access and deletion: You can view and delete all locally stored data by removing the extension from Chrome. For account data, email support@recruitraptor.com to request deletion.
• Cancel subscription: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal or by contacting us.

7. Security

All communication between the extension and our API uses HTTPS encryption. Subscription tokens are stored locally in your browser. We use Cloudflare's infrastructure for DDoS protection and network security.

8. Children's Privacy

RecruitRaptor is designed for professional recruiters. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the extension or email.
